Blos Café is a little oasis of relaxation in the busy Lynnwood road. As soon as you turn onto the gravel road into the property, you leave behind the hustling traffic for a moment of decadent escapism. The little old thatch-roof house surrounded by a lush green lawn makes you think of a quaint farm setting. They have the perfect balance between sophisticated and casual, creating a space where you can eat like royalty, yet kick off your shoes and chill. Bring the kids along to enjoy the expansive lawn and play area, getting rid of all that pent-up energy while you relax in the restful space.

Opened in 2011 by Mareli Robbertze, building forth on her successful restaurant industry experience, Blos has become one of the most popular venues in town for a quick cuppa and cake or a gourmet light meal. When she found the property it only had an old dilapidated house and scarce grass surrounding it, but it was soon transformed into an artistic masterpiece. When you are sipping on your cappuccino request to see the “Blos Book” to discover the remarkable transformation of the property! Utilizing the space to its utmost you have a choice of sitting inside the stylish house or outside on the patio. You can also relax on the grass, at a table or request a picnic blanket to stretch out for a laid-back moment. Blos is geared to host special functions, while still being open to the general public. Inside the house you can choose between three different settings, with seating capacities ranging from 20 people to 50. Or if you prefer the outdoors vibe, a special marquee tent is available. After your meal, pop into the Sand art gallery and shop, with fascinating glass designed products such as vases and decorations. Another great add-on to the venue, is the outdoor pizza oven. A versatile venue that will cater to your every need, you walk away feeling refreshed and energized after a visit here!

Breakfast – Mediterranean Magnolia – freshly baked croissant with scrambled eggs, topped with sun-driend tomato and olives, served with parmesan cheese; Lunch – Forget-me-nots – roosterkoek-bobotie burger served with roasted potatoes; Gourmet pizza – Blue Pear – gorgonzola, pear, red pepper marmalade, walnuts and rocket; Dessert – bake cheese cake with a pomegranate topping (by far one of the best cheese cakes in town)
